Commercial Flower Arranging Course - Day 1

We had a real feel for spring today (Feb 2014)with our students working with these gorgeous yellow spray roses .

We were delighted to welcome a new bunch of Floristry Students to the school today as they start on their road to reach their goals and for some of them a new career adventure. 

Day 1 of our Commercial Flower Arranging Course saw our ladies design a traditional arrangement with a modern twist in Yellow Spray Roses and later in the afternoon they designed more contemporary flower arrangements using Iris & Lisianthus 

Presentation Hand Tied Bouquet in a Floral Box

A very busy day at Kay's School of Floristry today as students learned the art of butting together a very large Hand Tied Bouquet.  The quickly caught on to the spiraling technique and it wasn't long before the mastered the skill of creating these fabulous bouquets.
The ladies learned how to make an aqua pack bubble of water, assembling the floralbox floral boxes, making organza bows and then just to add a bit of bling they added a brooch to their bouquet.
